- I am an Essence Best Selling Author of my debut novel, The Boss...the story of a female hustler (Urban Books).
I was born and raised in Youngstown, OH., and relocated to Columbus, OH. in 1995. I write full time because I suffer from Fibromyalgia and am unable to work a regular 9 to 5. My boys are grown and on their own and I am learning how to put myself first. I'm finding it very difficult after having dedicated my life to them for the past 20 years. But I'm learning.
My short story titled, Keepin' It In The Family is featured in the Urban Books Anthology, Around The Way Girls 5.
