About Me:
My first book is By His Sovereign Grace. This is a book of poetry, prayers, dreams, and testamonies ~ sharing with others what the Lord has done in my life. However, my book is not yet published. I had signed on with a company that has gone out of business, and have yet to resubmit somewhere else.

I have made a promise to the Lord that all I write in my life will be for His honor and glory.

My husband and I are blessed with four children, and we all live in Alaska. God has and is changing our lives, our hearts, our minds continually. We are very thankful for His hand that holds us and guides us through every moment.

We pray that all who know us will see the Light of the Lord shining from our lives, and be moved to want to know Him more.

God bless you in your walk with the Lord Jesus Christ.

PLEASE NOTE:
On my website, I am keeping a writer's blog, "Thoughts to Inspire Faith", that is sort of a Bible Study and Reflection.
Thank you for your interest in my writing. MC

I was homeless and addicted to crack cocaine for years. I walked the streets carrying my clothes from place to place and shelter to shelter. This went on for years, Then, I couldn't stand living like that anymore. I managed to earn enough money for a one-way train ticket to Chicago. Didn't know my way around or anyone in this city. I found a church and ran to the altar and stayed there praying for help from God. He heard my cry.

That was four years ago. Today, I am delivered from drugs and being homeless. I am happily married to my wife of two years. I am a licensed minister for Church of God in Christ. And I also write books about my struggle with drugs. I have two published books and you can purchase either of them from: www.awjbooks.com or Barnes & Noble bookstores. The name of my book is: "Look What The Lord Has Done". Tell someone about my testimony. Thank you and God Bless!

Hi Melody,

Only now did I see the four messages you left me.
You had visited my website and were wondering how I went from writing a novel to writing a children's book.

With 'Kitten Diaries' I didn't actually intent on writing a children's book, I intended to write a book for cat lovers of all ages.

I adopted Chanel from a cat shelter and wanted to draw attention to shelter adoption. I let Chanel 'tell' her story on that's how 'Kitten Diaries' was created.

Very sorry for not responding to you messages sooner.
Hope you are keeping well.

Melody,
Thanks for your comments on the book. It was a book I didn't really want to do but then God... He told me in 2001 to write it and to stop the story in the area of the late 80's. So I did and I have the other two books in the computer, partially. Book two picks up where this one left off and the third book will go from late 90's to present.
Did I mention I also have a christian trilogy on the shelf as well as other books booklets and manuals. I have been approached from a Christian Greeting Card company to write verses for them.... ahhhhh. I never thought I would be writing this much because for years I was a preacher.... now the transition comes. I guess as you get older you can hardly out run Him anymore.
Have a happy Holiday and please stay in touch.
Your new friend from NC.
Blessings
Tom
