Great book on a tough topic
By K. Grawitch

As a school social worker who works with children and teens, I try out books of all kinds that might speak to kids. 'For Love of Teddy' is a terrific choice for anyone who wants to broach the topic of drug use and the importance of making good choices with preteens and teens. It could be used with a classroom group or at home with your own children. The subject matter is serious, but the author approaches it in a realistic, but not overly graphic manne… Continue

I was homeless and addicted to crack cocaine for years. I walked the streets carrying my clothes from place to place and shelter to shelter. This went on for years, Then, I couldn't stand living like that anymore. I managed to earn enough money for a one-way train ticket to Chicago. Didn't know my way around or anyone in this city. I found a church and ran to the altar and stayed there praying for help from God. He heard my cry.

That was four years ago. Today, I am delivered from drugs and being homeless. I am happily married to my wife of two years. I am a licensed minister for Church of God in Christ. And I also write books about my struggle with drugs. I have two published books and you can purchase either of them from: www.awjbooks.com or Barnes & Noble bookstores. The name of my book is: "Look What The Lord Has Done". Tell someone about my testimony. Thank you and God Bless!

I remember too, I was 8 months pregnant, sitting down to watch the today show while I fed my twins breakfast. My sister lived two doors down from me at the time, I grabbed my girls and went down to her house and we watched everything happen. There ended up being a houseful there glued to the tv in disbeleif by the end of the day.

Hope we have the chance to chat soon!
Take care!
Many blessings,

Hi Jo! We sure have gotten a lot. So odd, but we are soaking up every minute of it. On the down side, it has been very humid and swap coolers don't work when it's humid. Wish I could send you some, but since we don't get much either, see if you can get some from Florida... or the Midwest...LOL
