- Born and raised in Southern Illinois, and now living in New Mexico for over 20 years. I have had songs published and recorded on independent labels, poetry published in various ezines, and now have my second novel, For Love of Teddy, on the market. I raise registered dogs and Persian cats and have three Miniature Horses. I enjoy gardening and landscaping, as well as travelling occassionally.

Great book on a tough topic

As a school social worker who works with children and teens, I try out books of all kinds that might speak to kids. 'For Love of Teddy' is a terrific choice for anyone who wants to broach the topic of drug use and the importance of making good choices with preteens and teens.
